There is now the ability for firm admins to restrict staff members from accessing LEAP on the LEAP Mobile app (iOS and Android).

Previously, to turn on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), staff members needed to download the LEAP Mobile app which also allowed all access to LEAP. Now, the LEAP Mobile app can be used only as an Authenticator.

Restrict LEAP Mobile Access for Staff Members

To restrict LEAP Mobile to be used as an Authenticator only:

Desktop: Click the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

Web: Click User-added image > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

Click Firm > under Staff > Staff Members.

The Staff Members List will be displayed.
Click the staff member.
Click the Access & Permissions tab on the left.
At the bottom under the LEAP Access heading, toggle off the option for Mobile Access.

When toggled off, the staff member will now only be able to use the LEAP mobile application as their authenticator.

Staff members with this restriction applied will not be able to sign into the LEAP Mobile app directly. They instead must tap Authenticator within the app and complete the sign in process there.

Set Mobile Device as LEAP Authenticator

Open the LEAP Mobile app.
Tap Authenticator below the Sign In button.
Enter your credentials and tap Sign In.
Tap Set-Up Two-Factor Authentication.
Toggle the option on for Use as Authenticator.

All Two-Factor Authentication codes will now be generated on the Home screen of the Mobile App after signing into the Authenticator.

To switch back to using the LEAP app for accessing matters, tap Mobile App instead of Authenticator.
