The instructions from LEAP are below to fix the issue. I have done this and have tested it and the files open without any further issue.

Apparently this is a LEAP wide issue for many clients. We have been suffering for 2 months and all we are told is "the dev team is working on it". The link provided by KH above is no longer live and didn't provide the fix needed.
