Printing to a Matter from an External Source

When researching a case, your findings may have to be copied from websites or lengthy regulations into documents that are then saved into a matter via LEAP's automation.

  1. Open the resource material you want to print to a matter and click Print (or press Ctrl + P on your keyboard).

  2. When prompted for a printer, select the Print To LEAP option.

    A PDF of your resource material is generated and the Printed Document window displays.

  3. If required, click Preview Document to review the file.

  4. Enter a Document Name and choose the Matter you wish to save the document to.

  5. Select the matter.

  6. If applicable, tick Create New Time/Fee.

  7. Click OK.

If your document appears to be cut off when printing in landscape orientation, follow these steps:

  • Check the Printer settings: Ensure the printer is set to Landscape orientation in the printer properties before printing.
  • When printing, verify that: 
    • Orientation is set to Landscape.
    • Paper size is set to the largest available option.
