If LEAP is crashing or freezing when you try to create new documents such as file notes, please refer to the following steps:

To resolve this issue, try configuring your Word Add-ins and Trust Center settings.

If the issue persists with a specific document type, right-click on the affected document and select "Edit" to open it in edit mode. After that, save and close the document without making any changes. This action will prompt LEAP to redownload the template.

If LEAP freezes or becomes unresponsive when opening,renaming or exporting a document, it may be due to a hidden pop-up caused by display settings. To fix this, adjust your main display configuration in Windows display settings.

If LEAP is crashing or freezing when saving or converting a Word document to PDF, the issue may be caused by a corrupted or outdated merge field in the document template. To resolve this, follow the steps below :

Open any matter in LEAP.
Click New Document, then right-click the relevant Document Type and select Edit.
In the Editing tab, click the arrow and select Toggle Field Names to display the merge fields.
Under Editing, click Insert Fields to open the fields panel.
Delete one of the fields shown in <<brackets>> within the document.
In the fields panel on the right-hand side, locate the corresponding field and double-click it to insert it.
Repeat this process until all <<merge fields>> have been replaced, including any hidden fields (you can reveal hidden fields using Alt + F9).
Once all fields have been replaced, click Save and Close in the top left corner.
