How to Enable IDV

 

  1. From the LEAP Matter List, click the LEAP Menu > Marketplace.

    The App Marketplace will open in a new window.

  2. From the All Apps section, click IDV.

  3. Click Enable.

How to Access IDV

 

  1. Navigate to any matter.

  2. Make sure you're on the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Click the IDV icon in the ribbon of the Details & Correspondence pane.

  4. Once the app opens, read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

How to Complete IDV

 

  1. From the app, you will see the affiliated clients on the matter who require IDV to be sent out to.

  2. Ensure the client card has both an email and a mobile number entered.

    You can also enter it directly within the IDV app by clicking the pencil IDV Pencil Icon.png icon.

  3. Once the information is filled out, select the optional requirements on the left if applicable.

  4. Click Start IDV.

The client will receive both a text message and email regarding the IDV completion.

The following will be the text your client receives along with an email. This will prompt a two factor authentication to go through process.

This is then followed by agreeing to terms and conditions followed by the checklist of items needed to complete the IDV process. This will then go through the applicable IDs that can be used to verify the clients identity (such as a drivers licence or passport). It will then require a scanned photo of the ID selected as well as request a live photo of the client.

The whole process will take around 2-4 minutes to complete. The client will then get a confirmation that the ID has been submitted and completed.

Once complete, the LEAP user will get a notification on their matter that the IDV has been completed.

The report is automatically save on the matter and can be accessed by double clicking the PDF listing containing IDV in the title.

If at any point, you would like to resend, cancel or start a new IDV, click Actions.
