How to Turn Off Use Current Time When Saving Emails from Outlook (Classic) to LEAP

If you are saving an email to LEAP and you want the timestamp to be when the email was sent/received instead of when it was saved to the matter, please refer to the below steps:

  1. In Outlook, click on the small arrow icon on the bottom right corner of the Save to Matter button.

  2. The LEAP Automation Options for Microsoft Outlook will open.

  3. Under the Email heading, untick Set Current Date to LEAP Emails.

  4. Click OK and Restart Outlook.

  5. Navigate to the Details & Correspondence tab in your LEAP matter and set the Date column to Show Created Date as shown below.

     

    The timestamp of the email will now be when the email was sent/received instead of when the email was saved to the matter.

    To revert it back to current Date Tick "Set Current Date to LEAP Emails" in LEAP Automation Options for Microsoft Outlook and revert the date column to Show Modified Date.
