As part of an ongoing commitment to strengthening security and maintaining compliance with integration requirements, we are introducing a MANDATORY update to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all XERO users within LEAP Legal Software
Why this change is happening
Xero has updated its security requirements for all integrated software providers. To continue supporting secure integrations with Xero and to protect client data, all connected platforms must enforce MFA for user access.
In alignment with this requirement, and to reduce security risks such as unauthorized access and credential-based attacks, LEAP will require MFA to be enabled for all users.
What you need to do
All clients must enable MFA in LEAP within the next 30 days, starting from May 22nd, 2026.
DEADLINE TO COMPLY: JUNE 22nd, 2026
After this date, MFA will be required to access LEAP and maintain integration functionality with Xero. Please ensure MFA is enabled prior to this date to avoid any disruptions.
Users who already use MFA in LEAP will not need to take any action.
How to enable MFA
You can enable MFA directly within LEAP’s application settings and using your mobile device.
