Details

At LEAP, safeguarding your firm’s data remains our highest priority. In response to valuable client feedback and the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape, effective March 28th, 2026, we were pleased to introduce an important enhancement to our access protocols.

What this means for your Law firm

LEAP now supports integration with leading third-party authenticator applications for MFA, including Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator. This update provides greater flexibility, allowing you to choose the authentication method that best aligns with your firm’s workflow.

Why This Change Matters

1. Client-Driven Improvements

We recognize that many law firms already operate within Microsoft or Google ecosystems. By enabling compatibility with these widely used tools, we aim to simplify the login experience and reduce the need to manage multiple applications across your practice.

2. Strengthened Security Measures

As cyber threats continue to grow in sophistication, MFA remains a critical safeguard. Integrating with trusted, enterprise-grade authentication from global providers enhances the protection of your firm’s sensitive data and client information.

Upcoming Requirement: Mandatory MFA

To align with emerging industry regulations and ensure consistent security standards across all users, MFA will soon become mandatory for all LEAP accounts. We strongly encourage firms to adopt their preferred authenticator app now to ensure a smooth transition ahead of this requirement.

Next Steps

We recommend reviewing your current security settings to take full advantage of these new capabilities. For detailed instructions on configuring your preferred authenticator app, please refer to our step-by-step guide: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Thank you for your continued trust as we remain committed to protecting your practice and your clients.
